In this scenario, the system aggregates data from two customer quotes where the same SKUs, quantities, and unit prices exist but are distributed across different line items. This feature ensures seamless aggregation, helping users validate consistency across documents while accounting for variations in how data is entered.
Why This Scenario Matters
Streamlined Validation: Ensures accurate aggregation of quantities and pricing even when line items are split across documents.
Error Reduction: Helps identify consistency across quotes without manual reconciliation of line-item discrepancies.
Faster Decision-Making: Aggregated data provides clarity on total costs and quantities, supporting seamless negotiation or approval processes.
Step 1: Navigate to the Document Repository
Access the Internal Docs Module: Click on the Internal Docs icon in the left-hand navigation bar.
Locate Customer Quotes: Use the search bar or scroll through the repository to locate the two customer quotes you want to compare.
Step 2: Select Documents for Comparison
Select Documents: Click the checkboxes next to the two customer quotes you wish to compare.
Initiate Comparison: Click the COMPARE button at the top of the repository to proceed.
Step 3: Confirm Common Fields

Step 4: Review the Comparison Results
Navigate through the tabs to analyze the results- Summary, Comparison and Detailed Comparison tabs.
Summary View: In the Summary view, a high-level aggregation of data across the two quotes, such as total quantities or pricing.
The AI highlights that although SKUs and pricing match perfectly, the items were entered as separate lines in each document.
Comparison View: Switch to the Comparison tab to see an aggregated table of SKUs, quantities, and total pricing.
Key Insight: The system consolidates line items, ensuring accurate totals even when the data is split across multiple lines. For example:SKU-200101 (Orion Network Router) is split into two lines across the quotes, but the system aggregates it as:
Quantity: 17 (6 + 4 from Quote 1 and 7 from Quote 2)
Total Price: $21,250 ($7,500 + $5,000 from Quote 1 and $8,750 from Quote 2).
SKU-200103 (Astra Cloud Storage) similarly aggregates across both quotes.
Detailed Comparison View: Switch to the Detailed Comparison tab to see the individual breakdown of all line items.
The system shows side-by-side data for each line item, allowing for granular verification of how entries are distributed in the quotes.
