Initiate a Chat with a Specific Document

In Numero, you can use the AI-powered chat interface to ask targeted questions about a specific document. This feature streamlines the review process by allowing you to extract precise information directly from the document.

Steps to Start a Chat Session:

  1. Open the Document: Navigate to the document you want to interact with or you could use the search bar to find specific filings. Click to open it in the document viewer.

  2. Start Chat: You can initiate a chat either by clicking on the document directly or by selecting the document using the checkbox and clicking the START CHAT button.

  3. Type Your Question: In the chat field, enter a question related to the document

  4. Submit the Question: Press the send icon to submit your question.

  5. View the AI Response: The AI will analyze the document and display relevant information, such as financial data, key terms, or clauses related to your query.

You can continue the conversation with follow-up questions to get more specific details from the document.


Overview of the AI Chat Interface and Its Functions

The AI chat interface allows for quick and efficient interaction with your document. Here are the main features:

  • Chat Field: Type your questions here. The AI uses natural language processing to provide answers from the document (e.g., "What is the revenue for Q3?").

  • Response Area: The AI’s response will display key information directly from the document, such as figures or clauses related to your question.

  • Follow-Up Questions: You can continue asking related questions based on the AI’s previous response to explore more details.

  • Bookmarking, Copying & Feedback: After receiving a response, you have the option to:

    • Bookmark useful responses for future reference.

    • Copy the response, either with or without citations, using the copy icon. This feature is particularly useful for transferring accurate information into reports or analysis.

    • Feedback: ​At the bottom of each AI response, you’ll find options to give feedback on whether the AI’s response was helpful or needs improvement. You will have thumbs up and thumbs down. Every thumbs down will be reviewed by our team to improve your future experience with Numero.
