After retrieving the list of documents (as seen in the Retrieved Documents section), you can either view or chat with the documents. Select single or multiple documents by checking the boxes next to the document names.
Select the document you wish to view by simply hovering over it and clicking it.
The document will be opened in a new browser tab. The document view interface will contain three tabs: AI Chat, Summary, and Details.
AI Chat Interaction
Upon opening the document, the interface defaults to the AI Chat tab. This tab allows you to ask specific questions about the document and interact with its content. You can either type your queries or use the suggested prompts displayed below the input box. These prompts help you quickly retrieve information about key clauses, involved parties, terms, or any other specific details within the document. The AI responds in real time, pulling relevant information directly from the document.
Summary Tab
The Summary Tab offers a concise overview of the document’s main points. For instance, if you are reviewing a contract, the summary will highlight essential details such as parties involved, key dates, financial terms, and any critical clauses. This tab allows you to quickly understand the document without needing to read through the entire text. The summary is generated by the AI and formatted in an easy-to-read style, focusing on the most important aspects of the document.
Details Tab
The Details Tab dives deeper into document attributes, providing a structured view of critical metadata. These attributes vary based on the type of document you are viewing (e.g., contracts, invoices, NDAs). For instance, a contract may display terms, parties, renewal dates, and governing laws. Each field is editable, allowing users to manually update or correct metadata as needed. Simply click the pencil icon to make changes, and once you're done, click Save to store your updates.
Linked Docs Tab
The Linked Docs tab within the single document drill-down view provides users with seamless access to related documents. Users can conveniently view the linked document here without navigating elsewhere. Since, there are no linked documents, there is no data shown here.
Document Viewer
In addition to the tabs, Numero includes a fully integrated PDF Viewer on the right-hand side of the interface. This viewer allows you to navigate through the document and verify its content with ease.
Document Navigation
Scroll through pages: Use the scroll wheel or the up/down arrows to move through the document.
Jump to specific pages: Enter the page number directly to skip to a desired section.
Zooming: Use the zoom icons (+/-) to adjust the document size for better readability.
Page navigation: Navigate between pages using the left and right arrows for easier exploration.
Search and Full-Screen View
Keyword Search: Click the magnifying glass icon to search for specific keywords or phrases within the document. This is especially helpful when looking for particular clauses or terms.
Full-Screen Mode: For a more detailed view, click the full-screen icon at the top-right corner of the viewer. This will expand the document to take up your entire screen, making it easier to read. Press the Esc key or click the icon again to exit full-screen mode.
Editing and Saving Document Attributes
If AI extraction misses key details or you need to make changes, the Details Tab allows you to edit and save document attributes with ease. Follow these steps:
Open the document from the repository.
Navigate to the Details Tab.
Click the pencil icon next to the section you wish to edit.
Modify the relevant fields and click Save to store your changes.
Downloading Documents
To download documents for offline use, follow these steps:
Select the document you wish to view by clicking on the document name.
Once inside the document view, locate the Download button at the top-right corner of the interface.
Click the Download icon
Choose either PDF or Excel format:
PDF: Download the document in its original format for viewing.
Excel: Download extracted data (where applicable) in tabular form for further analysis.
Viewing Citations and Verifying Extracted Data
Numero allows you to easily cross-check AI-extracted details with the original content:
In the Details Tab, click any field that is hyperlinked (e.g., payment terms, dates).
The viewer will automatically navigate to the corresponding section of the document.
Highlighted citations will show where the AI sourced the extracted data, helping you verify its accuracy.
Make changes or edits if necessary to ensure the extracted data matches the document.
Opening Multiple Tabs
Numero allows you to open multiple documents in separate tabs, making it easy to compare and analyze them side by side. Each document opens in its own tab, supporting efficient multitasking.
