When using Numero's Guidance Research module, the PDF viewer allows you to verify AI-extracted data seamlessly with highlighted citations. This feature ensures accuracy and simplifies the process of cross-checking information within documents.

Highlighted Citations
When you ask a question in the AI-powered chat, such as "What are the criteria for lease classification under ASC 842?", the AI extracts the relevant data and includes numbered citations (e.g., [12], [13], [74]) within the response. These citations correspond to the exact sections and pages in the document.

How to Verify Extracted Data

  1. Click on the Citation: In the AI response, click on a numbered citation (e.g., [12], [13], or [74]).

  2. Automatic Navigation: The PDF viewer will automatically scroll to the exact page and highlight the corresponding text.

  3. Cross-Check Information: Review the highlighted section in the document to confirm the accuracy of the AI’s response.

For example:

  • The AI response highlights "Lessees are also required to classify leases" with direct links to citations [13] and [74].

  • When clicked, the PDF viewer navigates to the highlighted portion of the document, showcasing the section "Lessor classification" under Section 1.2.3.

  • You can verify that both citations [13] and [74] point to accurate and relevant content in the document.
