The Global Search Interface in Numero is designed for ease of use, offering intuitive access to both internal and public documents. This section will guide you through the key elements of the interface and explain how to make the most of the Global Search feature.
Starting Page Overview
Upon logging into Numero, you will land on the Global Search screen, which serves as the starting point for all document-related queries. This is where you will begin interacting with the system to search for and retrieve documents or financial data.
Navigate to the left-hand navigation bar and click on the Global Search tab.
This is the key icon for accessing the Global Search feature. Clicking this will bring you to the page where you can initiate searches for documents or queries.
Document Source Icons (Blue Icons)
At the top of the Global Search Interface, three main document sources are represented by blue icons:
β
Internal Documents:
This category allows you to search across various internal records that are specific to your organization. These include operational and financial documents like:
βContracts: (e.g., Customer Agreements, Vendor Agreements, NDAs, Lease Agreements).
Transactions: (e.g., Customer Invoices, Vendor Invoices, Purchase Orders).
Accounting Documents: (e.g., Policies, Memos).
Users can filter internal documents by selecting one of the following categories for a more focused search: Contracts, Transactions, or Accounting.
βPublic Documents:
Here, users can search for publicly available filings, such as SEC reports, earnings transcripts, and financial disclosures. Public documents are especially useful for financial analysts and compliance officers needing access to regulatory filings.
βSpecific Documents:
For users who need a more granular or focused search, the Specific Documents category allows you to directly specify the document type. This ensures a more targeted search experience.
In upcoming articles, we will explore each document type and category in detail, complete with examples to help you understand how to use them effectively in your searches.
